Case History

Here’s a beautiful piece of aviation history: a pilot’s leather flight case, with the Airway Manuals with leather covers. The manuals are packed with information, much of it out of date now. Some of the airports are gone. The last time the manuals were changed was 1991.

A pilot friend tells me the case and covers are at least forty years old. The case looks ‘sixties.

It’s going on eBay later, with a reserve. But if you’re in the area, you can pop in to the shop at 4 Church Walk, Kensington to see it.

Details: The case is by Jeppesen. It is a Jeffco flight case. Model FCH. Jeppesen

Denver USA. It has a key.
